Data collected, purposes and legal bases<\/h2>\n

  • Comments under articles:<\/strong> name (or username), email address, comment content, IP address. Purpose: publishing and moderating comments, combating spam. Legal basis: your consent (voluntary submission of the comment).<\/li>\n
  • Contact form:<\/strong> name, email, message and, where applicable, the subject of the request. Purpose: handling your request by our editorial team. Legal basis: your consent.<\/li>\n
  • Itinerary planner:<\/strong> destination, number of travellers, interests, dates, indicative budget and desired travel pace. Purpose: generating a personalised itinerary for indicative purposes. Legal basis: your consent (voluntary use of the tool). No identifying data (name, email, contact details) is requested or transmitted through this tool.<\/li>\n
  • Technical logs and audience measurement:<\/strong> IP address and browsing data, for site security purposes and, where applicable, audience statistics. Legal basis: legitimate interest for security purposes; consent where an audience measurement tool not exempted by the CNIL is used (see the Cookies section).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    How the itinerary planner works<\/h2>\n

    This free tool is accessible without creating an account. The criteria you provide (destination, number of travellers, interests, dates, budget, pace) are transmitted, via a technical relay hosted on Cloudflare Workers, to a third-party artificial intelligence service (Anthropic API) which generates the proposed itinerary. No information that could identify you is requested by the form or transmitted to this service. We do not store any of your responses on our own servers: the generated itinerary is stored only in your device’s browser (so-called “localStorage”), for purely functional purposes, so that you can find it again during your visit. The artificial intelligence provider and its technical relay may, for their part, temporarily retain requests in accordance with their own terms, for security purposes and to combat abuse.<\/p>\n

    Recipients and processors<\/h2>\n

    Your data is intended for CYLO\u00c9. The site is hosted in France by o2switch (Clermont-Ferrand). We use the following providers, acting as processors or as separate controllers depending on the case:<\/p>\n

    • Anthropic (United States):<\/strong> generation of the itinerary based solely on the travel criteria provided (no identifying data transmitted). Transfers outside the European Union are governed by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and\/or the Data Privacy Framework, depending on the safeguards in effect at the time of processing.<\/li>\n
    • Cloudflare (United States):<\/strong> technical relay (Cloudflare Workers) between the site and the artificial intelligence service. Same transfer safeguards as above.<\/li>\n
    • GetYourGuide:<\/strong> when you click on an affiliate link to GetYourGuide, you are redirected to their site. planhora.com does not transmit any personal data about you to GetYourGuide at the time of the click; the rest of your browsing and any booking are then governed by GetYourGuide’s own privacy policy, and you become their direct counterpart.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      No data is sold or transmitted to third parties for commercial purposes. Your data may be disclosed to the competent authorities upon lawful request.<\/p>\n

      Retention periods<\/h2>\n

      • Published comments: kept for as long as they remain displayed on the site; if not published (spam, negative moderation), deleted within 12 months.<\/li>\n
      • Contact form: 3 years after the last exchange.<\/li>\n
      • Itinerary planner: no retention on our servers; local storage (browser) under your sole control, which can be erased at any time via your browser settings.<\/li>\n
      • Technical logs: 12 months.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Your rights<\/h2>\n

        In accordance with the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act (loi Informatique et Libert\u00e9s), you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability over your data. To exercise them, write to contact@planhora.com specifying your request and, if necessary, the details needed to identify you (for example, the email address used for a comment). You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr, 3 place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris).<\/p>\n

        Cookies and trackers<\/h2>\n

        The site places technical cookies strictly necessary for its operation (session, security, language preference). The itinerary planner uses functional local storage (“localStorage”), not a tracking cookie.<\/p>\n

        The site also uses Google Analytics (audience measurement, _ga and _ga_* cookies, maximum duration 13 months): these cookies are only placed after you have given your consent, collected via the consent banner displayed on your first visit. You may refuse without any impact on your browsing, and change your choice at any time via the cookie management icon present on the site.
